Mezzanine

The mezzanine floor of the main museum building is available for rent for private functions. Maximum capacity of 65.

Rates:

  • Meeting: $45/hr, minimum 2 hour rental

  • Meeting Half Day: $125

  • Meeting Full Day: $250

  • Art Show: $75 per day / $250 per week

  • Parties up to 30 ppl: $275

  • Parties up to 65 ppl: $385

  • Insurance coverage is included in rental fees for events without alcohol or live music.

We encourage clients to set up and clean up their own functions. Additional fees will be applied when set-up and clean-up is required to be done by staff. A limited number of tables and chairs are available for use at no additional charge.

Features of the space include a TV monitor/ screen that can be connected to a computer for presentations of DVDs and PowerPoint, or with the Internet. There is also a small kitchen but it is not recommended for catering large events. 

Patio Portal

The Patio Portal is a new addition to the Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre. The beautiful space is equipped with tables, benches, chairs and a children’s interactive tug to play on. A great spot overlooking the Bay.
